For a buffet I was actually impressed. It is crazy busy but they keep it clean and the food is hot and fresh and they keep the food areas updated so that they're never out of anything. Staff is attentive and friendly. It's big inside so plenty of seating and room to walk around the buffet area. They have freshly made sushi which is what I went for. You can watch them make it.

Whenever I come to visit my in-laws, we always eat at Buffet City. It is one of their favorites and my stepson also loves it. I gave up eating Chinese buffets years ago but I do look forward to eating here. The best item on the buffet in my opinion is the honey chicken. The sauce is really sweet and sticky. It has more flavor than say the Generl Tso's that can tend to be too runny. I also enjoy all the standard Chinese fare such as egg rolls, dumplings, crab Rangoon, sweet and sour chicken etc as well as the Hibachi with 6 different sauces to choose from. Avoid Sundays and evenings for the higher prices.
For some reason Yelp wouldn't let me check in, but anyway, this was a random stop on the way to Weeki Wachee. Some things could have been a little hotter but I liked everything I tried. Buffets are not chef inspired cusine places, but my expectations were all met or a little exceeded. Zero spit out chewy guk into a napkin, bravo I say Buffet City. Everything was well stocked, areas were all kept clean . Very good deal at 10.99 for lunch. This place would go into the regular rotation if I lived near it.
